IMA Dadlana Branch is still waiting its formal inauguration for want of one authentic address to whom to contact. One year has passed and the branch is working having regular monthly clinical meetings.Please guide us what to do. Meeting preceded by Lunch with courtesy IOCL. Atlunch Mr. R.P.Pandey, Matron Versha, Sister Janak Baliand Geeta also joined. To start with Dr. Sushma Rani President IMA dadlanaBranch greeted Mrs. Sharda Ranjan, Dr. Anil VajpeyeePatron greeted Dr. Ranjan and Dr. Bindu B.R.Secretarygreeted Mr. Swami Nathan by presenting rose flowers. Dr. Sushma Rani welcomed the chief guest, guests andall the members to the annual meeting of the IMADadlana branch. Participants gave their selfintroduction. Dr. Bindu B.R. secretary read out the annual report.Dr. Susmita Supkar the treasurer presented the branchaccounts as on 13th December 2007. Annual report andaccounts were adopted by the house by clapping. Mr. Swami Nathan gave the introduction of the Panipatrefinery telling in detail the principals of refiningof crude oil and risk factors involved in the refineryindustry. He told in detail various possible hazardslikely to occur and measures taken for those. It wasquite informative talk for IMA members and made themaware of the sensitivity of the industry. Dr. Kamlesh Bansal introduced the chief guest to thehouse and requested him to give a presentation on Byepass or Angioplasty or Neither of these. Dr. Sharda Ranjan gave his presentation throughmultimedia. It was eye opening presentation based uponfacts and evidences of various references from trialsdone in various countries in the world but for inIndia. In India things move on whims and traditionsonly. According to him in nut shell theseinterventions are good if done with in 200 minutes ofattack other wise these procedures may improve thequality of life which can also be achieved other wiseby change in life style. These procedures can notimprove the quantity of life i.e. can not improve thelongivity of the life. The talk was enjoyed by all theparticipants. Dr. Anil Vajpeyee proposed a vote of thanks for thechief guest for his meaningful, informative and boldtalk. Dr. Sharda Ranjan gave away the mementos to themembers IMA Dadlana present in the meeting. Dr. SushmaRani gave a token of love to Mrs. Sharda Ranjan. Mr.Swami Nathan gave a memento to the chief guest and Dr.Anil Vajpeyee gave a memento to Mr. Swami Nathan. Meeting concluded with recital of National Anthem byall.
